Listen with Love. Speak with Love. Act with Love.

Mirror

How do you ever expect to get anywhere in life, if you are always lying to yourself? Being accountable means not only sticking to your word, but meaning what you say. Be honest with yourself. Are you really happy? Are you doing your best every day to get yourself ahead? Are you surrounding yourself with positive people? Say what you mean, and mean what you say. It is that simple. Really. Why make something so simple so complex?
Also, another concept that has just dawned on me. Results. Our generations sick obsession with results and seeing them as fast as possible. Do you not realize results come last? It's your actions that get you those awesome results. And solid, positive actions compounded over time to get you the results you want. Time. Are you wasting your time? Did you surf the internet to learn new, extraordinary things? Or were you on Facebook for a combination of 2 hours today creeping "friends" pages, when they most likely weren't your "friends" anyways? Are you doing anything, ANYTHING positive right now that will get you just that much farther ahead then that person you dislike or can't stand? What are you doing that will better you 5 years from now? 10 years from now? Does commitment frighten you? Committing to little (what seems like insignificant tasks now) WILL benefit you eventually. Pile of clothes you said you'd put away Saturday still sitting on your bedroom floor? Has your mother asked you, not once, not twice, but three times to do your laundry? You realize, that doing laundry is a small simple task that will only give you confidence to complete something else. Complete. To complete something. If you have tasks, requests, chores etc, that need completing, GO DO THEM! Having an incomplete task is something that ties you to the past. It's holding you back. Its seems so little. However, doing these little things, everyday will get you just a little bit farther ahead.

Go look in a mirror and ask yourself some skill testing questions.
Am I where I want to be?
What am I doing right now that is significant, not just to me, but to other people?
Am I accountable?
Am I friendly?
Are all my relationships positive and full of life?
Are my finances where I need them to be?

Look at yourself.
Really, look at yourself.

This is more of a "note to self."
